This report presents an assessment of the applications CİSST submitted throughout 2024 to the official bodies mandated to monitor and inspect human rights in prisons in Turkey, together with the responses received to those applications. The study aims to set out the current state of rights violations in prisons and to discuss the extent to which monitoring and reporting mechanisms are effective.
